Enhance Your Week with Adolescence, A Track Workout, Treaty Oak Revival and Roark
“Don’t be into trends. Don’t make fashion own you, but you decide what you are, what you want to express by the way you dress and the way to live.”
Everybody’s watching this show, but you can’t deny it’s impact. This week we start off with recommending the Netflix series “Adolescence.” Television can teach, and I’d argue this show is more than just “television.” It’s a masterclass in child psychology. Episode 3 will rip your heart out.
For the runners and athletes, we have a killer track workout to head down to your local track and crush. And you can do it all in this perfect wind/rain jacket from Roark.
Our art recommendation features the in your face clothing brand with a message Boss Dog Art Department. Artist Mikey Boss Dog creates radical designs and sells them on all types of apparel and accessories. These pieces speak for themselves, and Mikey has just switched to phase 3 of this art project. He is now launching his items via scheduled “drops” rather than an online retail store. So if you want something, it’s a must to subscribe to his email address or follow him on social.
And then a new song choice. This may not be for everyone but it’s great banging country rock. Treaty Oak Revival…you may not like it, but give it a listen or send it to that one friend that loves country music and up his or her taste. “Bad State of Mind” is such a great song, and it looks as if these guys have some fun performing live. They are touring all over the Southwestern United States from Texas, California, Oklahoma, Louisiana and more. Get out there, throw some beer cups around and enjoy a great live raucous rock show.
Cheers,
